Kristina M. Terlecki Massage Therapist Youngstown Ohio Kristina M. Terlecki, LMT

Kristina is a Licensed Massage Therapist, a certified Neuromuscular Therapist, and a Certified Arvigo® Practitioner. Using the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy®, and her skills in myofascial release techniques, trigger-point therapy, and various other modalities as well as herbs, energy work and guidance in diet and self-care, Kristina offers a holistic and supportive bodywork treatment and provides her clients with the tools to reconnect with their bodies and attain and maintain balance within. Her mission is to support women through all stages of life, including fertility issues during the child-bearing years, to help solve digestive and reproductive organ issues for men and woman of all ages, and to help relieve musculoskeletal pain issues in a safe and caring environment.

Kristina gratuated from the National Institute of Massotherapy in 2002 and became licensed by the Ohio Medical Board. She began practicing as a clinical massage therapist near Youngstown, OH, seeing clients primarily for auto accident and work-related injuries. In 2003, she became certified as a neuromuscular therapist after completing a 12-month advanced-training course that also included training in: myofascial release, orthobionomy, craniosacral therapy, MLD (Manual Lymphatic Drainage), pre-natal and geriatric massage, shiatsu, and polarity. During that same year, Kristina also completed a ten week course in gross anatomy at the Northeast Ohio Medical College (NEOMED), in which she gained tremendous insights into human anatomy and physiology. In 2004 she opened a practice with Cleveland Acupuncturist, Anne Kinchen, who specializes in fertility and pain management issues, and in 2008 became certified in The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy® after three years of course work and case studies. Additionally, Kristina earned a BA in Anthropology from Youngstown State University (2000), is a 2nd Degree Reiki practitioner, and a proud mama of two whom she birthed naturally in large part thanks to the ancient wisdom and techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy®. Kristina is passionate about imparting this wisdom and these techniques to other woman who seek to obtain optimal uterine health and wish to experience the joy and beauty of a healthy pregnancy and a safe, natural birth.

Her passion for learning about the body and healing, and discerning the interconnectedness of all things, has led Kristina on her path to help others discover their own body's inherent ability to self-heal...given the opportunity to do so. Kristina aims to facilitate that opportunity.
